A quick video from my transit of the LB Knox bascule bridge in Florida back in February 2023.
On February 23, 2023, I passed through the LB Knox bascule bridge on my way north along Florida’s ICW. The bridge is located at Ormond Beach, just north of the Daytona area.
In this video, I’m moving slowly toward the bridge because there are two sailboats behind me and the bridge tender won’t open until we all arrive. No reason to rush! The video is narrated, although the sound could be better, and you’ll hear a lot of boats talking on the radio. I didn’t speed any of this up. It was a short wait but I wanted viewers to see what it’s like to approach and then wait for a drawbridge to open.
