Video from my stop at the Big Chute Marine Railway on July 12, 2024.
I had my bowcam running all day as I left Lock 43, went through three locks, and ended the day at an island dock in Georgian Bay. When I stopped at lock 44, the Big Chute, I had to wait. I spent my waiting time videoing the boat in front of me as it went through the lock. This compiled video is from that footage. It’s narrated and I think it does a great job of explaining how the lock works while showing closeup video of a boat crossing the road there.
I’ll be blogging about this day soon and will link to that post here when it’s done. I’ll also be doing another video featuring bowcam footage of my boat as I go through the lock.
