I know it looks like I’m done here, but I’m not.
Yes, I finished my Great Loop adventure — at least for now. And yes, I’m on to other things.
But there are a lot of gaps in this blog and a lot of Great Loop video I shot that needs to be edited and put online. And that’s going to be my winter project: finish my account of the 15 months I spent on the Great Loop in MV Do It Now with posts here and videos on YouTube.
But that’s not all. As I type this, Do It Now is tied to a mooring ball off Sucia Island in Washington State. It’s just the first stop in about a week of cruising in the San Juan Islands. And then comes the big trip: I join a flotilla of power and sail boats for a two week journey to Desolation Sound along the Inside Passage east of Vancouver Island.
You know I’ll blog and create new video about all of it.
But I won’t put it here. This blog is for my Great Loop trip. The Pacific Northwest is about as far as you can get from the Great Loop without leaving the US. So for now, all the blog posts about my PNW cruising will be posted to my personal blog, An Eclectic Mind. I hope you’ll check in there to see what’s new.
As for the videos, you can still find them on my personal YouTube channel, Maria Langer. I might change the name of the channel in the future, but for now, it’s just named after me. I posted a video there just a while ago and hope to get another one online tomorrow.
I hope you keep checking in to see what’s new everywhere.
Thanks so much for all your work and posts! Those of us far away so curious about the process and your experiences are truly appreciative.
Thanks so much! I’m on one last cruise for the season and then I’ll get back to work.
